Eulogies Flow for Rob and Michele Reiner as Medical Examiner's Findings Are Sealed.

More than two weeks following the shocking loss of celebrated film director Rob Reiner and his partner, photographer Michele Reiner, peers and loved ones are still paying respects to the pair.

‘Life is Pain Without You’: Cary Elwes Pays Tribute to His Director

Posting on social media, actor Cary Elwes, who rose to fame in Reiner's beloved 1987 film *The Princess Bride*, explained he just recently felt able to share openly about his personal sorrow.

"Sufficient time has gone by that I can finally express my sorrow into words," posted Elwes, adding that his introductory moment with Reiner created an instant bond. "When we commenced spending more time together I understood this was someone I wanted in my life."

The actor uploaded archival material from the movie, adding that he doesn't recollect "a single day without joy".

"This story is about affection, allegiance and giving. Things that Rob cherished deeply. This is one of the many reasons he was the ideal person to helm it," Elwes continued.

He went on to praise Michele Reiner, noting: "Claiming that they were a incredible duo would be an oversimplification. My heart still aches every time I think of you." He finished with a quote from *The Princess Bride*: "Sure, death cannot stop true love but living is anguish without you."

Martin Scorsese Recalls a Friend and Collaborator

In a separate piece, acclaimed director Martin Scorsese also honored Reiner, whom he first met in the 1970s.

"Immediately, I loved being with Rob. We had a innate rapport for each other. He was very funny and sometimes sharply witty, but he was never the kind of guy who would dominate the room," Scorsese shared.

Scorsese pointed out Reiner's cameo appearance in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, embodying the father of the lead role.

"He could improvise with the best. He was a master at comedy, he worked seamlessly with his co-stars, and he grasped the human predicament of his character," Scorsese added.

Court Proceedings: Autopsy Reports Sealed

In a new development, a Los Angeles judge ruled to block the release of the Reiners' post-mortem findings, following a petition from the local authorities.

A court order placed a restriction on the investigation to restrict the public release of "any investigative information, notes, reports or photos" associated with the ongoing investigation.

The coroner's office had already determined their deaths were the result of murder, with a official listing listing the cause as "wounds from an edged weapon".

Fallout and Commentary

In the wake of the killings, public figures expressed different responses.

Ex-President Donald Trump wrote on the matter, making provocative statements that were widely condemned by numerous individuals.

Podcaster Joe Rogan lent his perspective to the critics last week. Speaking on his program, Rogan labeled the statements as "shocking" and implied they showed a worrisome absence of compassion.

Rogan ended by remarking that an associate ought to have stepped in when the decision to comment on the tragedy was made.
