American-Palestinian Adolescent Released Following Nine Months in Israeli Custody

An American-Palestinian youth who spent nine months in Israel's custody without being charged was released.
The teenager Mohammed Ibrahim was fifteen years old during his detention this past winter throughout the West Bank territory, while he was vacationing on holiday from Florida for allegedly throwing stones at Jewish settlers, claims he consistently denied.
United States authorities expressed satisfaction with the teenager's freedom.

The state department announced ongoing to provide consular support for the Ibrahim family.

Mohammed's parent, parent of four children who runs an ice cream business in Florida, had earlier stated his son only confessed to throwing stones because the soldiers beat him.
There were no visits or spoken to Mohammed since the arrest, receiving updates exclusively what had happened to him via legal paperwork.
The teenager remained absent formal charges in Ofer prison in the West Bank.
