Aircraft Transporting Pete Hegseth Forced to Land in UK Due to Crack in Cockpit Window
An aircraft ferrying the US defense secretary was forced to make an emergency landing in the Britain on Wednesday after a crack was found in the jet's front window, according to an official statement which confirmed that Hegseth was safe.
"The plane landed in accordance with standard protocol and all passengers, such as Pete Hegseth, is safe," a spokesperson commented in a public statement.
The secretary was coming back from a quick journey to the city of Brussels during the flight.
This occurrence isn't the first occasion that a American defense plane transporting a high-ranking official has encountered mechanical issues.
Months ago, a US Air Force plane carrying the US Secretary of State to the German city of Munich was compelled to turn back to Washington after experiencing a mechanical fault.
